Resistance Near Me
Check out!

To continue the amazing energy and momentum from last week, when thousands flooded town halls and events across the country, we’re launching—a new tool for progressive local #Resist actions. It is designed for you to find any public event, rally, town hall, or protest in your state. It also includes the information that you need to contact your member of Congress to tell them to, for example, protect our health care, investigate ties to Russia, or stop the Muslim ban.

Republicans are about to introduce their plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which would strip away the health care of 30 million Americans. Don’t let them get away with it—keep the momentum going. Go to or plan an event in your area, make a call, or send an email to make your voice heard and continue to demand that your concerns be addressed.

We also want to hear from you: Do you want to get involved but don’t see anything in your area? Let us know, and we’ll notify you when something is scheduled. Planning an event that you want listed? Let us know about that too.

We know that resistance works. We must continue to raise our voices to resist Trump’s harmful agenda and our representatives in Congress who are not speaking for us. Especially after Trump’s address to Congress last night, use to show that we aren’t going anywhere. We will continue to #Resist.

Make a $20 donation to support the Resist movement, and we’ll send you this Resist car magnet to demonstrate you won’t back down. Send a message to Trump that you won’t stand for his harmful policies. We hope you’ll join us in the resistance.

Our powerful new ad taking on Donald Trump –

We’re on the air again. This time on FOX and Friends AND Morning Joe.

This ad features retired Rear Admiral Michael Smith who served as Commander, Destroyer Squadron 23 and as the Sea Combat Commander for the Nimitz Strike Group.

He appears in front of the White House calling for an independent commission on the relationship between President Trump and the Russian government.

Watch our latest ad and contribute $3 to help us keep the pressure on President Trump. As long as there are people who want to see veterans take the fight to Trump, we won’t stop.

In the ad, with the White House behind him, Smith says, “As a Navy admiral, I commanded a carrier strike group and swore to defend America. Now, I’m here to defend it again.”

The spot lead off This Week with George Stephanopoulos, so you know it’s already gotten the attention of the White House and the D.C. elite.

Make a $3 contribution to help us continue to elevate the voices of veterans in the campaign to fight back against Donald Trump’s policies and relationships that put America at risk.

Thank you for standing with VoteVets. At time when Congress refuses to stand up to President Trump and our institutions are largely failing to do the same, you can count on us to make your voice heard.

All my best,

Jon Soltz
