manic Monday and some News

All deep water drilling permits have been stopped(22); the 2 most recent permits have also been stopped.

This will be a week of campaigning for Democratic candidates; some are supported some say others are not true Democrats. This week seems to be the start of what can be considered Election Season as well as a whole lot of problems that need to be addressed by our President who with Congress has made things better.  We all have to admit that  government is there when all else has failed … all those who want and advocate less government, less taxes, less debt, less spending unless their state needs money is just one of several examples of why in this election year people need to be more aware of who they are about to vote into Public Office.

A vote for Rand Paul is a vote for going back in time when Women and Minorities were treated as things.  We the People should be aware of Politicians like Rand Paul who want to get into Public Office ; it’s obvious he will never be able to move forward after hearing his stance on Civil Rights, Racism and who should control Private vs Public entities.

This has to be the worse time or moment to be a President yet the improvements and or changes put into place by votes are moving us into the right direction and will eventually turn our entire ruined system around; but change takes time.  The change we all need is not from a Political Party that is against Reform unless they benefit from it first as Mitch McConnell and other Republicans have clearly showed Americans not only are they with the drill baby drill and Wall Street money takers.  We all heard about the meetings and requests for money from Wall Street and Banks as reported by talkingheads on cable.

The stimulus money, which, was voted down but spent by Republicans who also gave out big checks and took credit for the money in basically each Republican State while saying the Obama Administration is spending way too much money and not paying for it while doling out the money at ribbon cuttings and more.  It’s offensive and should be just one of many reasons to vote for the Democratic Party for the upcoming mid-terms and in November. It’s the responsibility of us all to remind folks that Republicans are stating stop spending, stop entitlements and continue to be the Party of No while being  pro-Wall Street, pro-Banks; maybe doing backroom deals or fund-raising with them for the upcoming elections; in spite of  We the People.   The question is …who in their right mind would vote Republicans into Political Office without knowing that it will be bringing back the status quo… the change 53% voted for means getting folks who will have the courage to go with Party line and at this moment it’s a Democratic Party. That means voting in a Political Party that believes in equal rights for most everyone and who believe in true Reform of entities that gamble and create products that were meant to fail.

White House Economic Adviser Outlines Fiscal Agenda.

As Congressional leaders meet this week to reconcile House- and Senate-passed versions of financial industry regulation legislation, National Economic Council Director Lawrence Summers gives the White House perspective in a speech promoted as “Reflections on Fiscal Policy and Economic Strategy.” The Senate passed a Wall Street regulation bill last week and must now negotiate a compromise with leaders in the House, which passed their bill in December. Each chamber is expected to appoint members this week to a Conference Committee that will reconcile the bills. Their report must be approved by the full House and Senate before being sent to the President for signing into law.
