¡Yasuní depende de ti!

“The future is in your hands,” said Oscar award winning actor Jared Leto, urging Ecuadorian voters to sign for an oil-free Yasuní.

“Yasuní is home to Ecuador’s last indigenous peoples living in voluntary isolation,” actress Michelle Monaghan chimes in, stopping to film the urgent plea during a recent visit to San Francisco. “Their survival is worth more than a few days’ oil.”

Amazon Watch and Yasunidos released an exciting new PSA today featuring celebrity supporters rising in solidarity with Ecuadorians to defend the controversial Yasuní National Park from oil drilling.

What role will you play in the next phase of our campaign?

Reform Immigration FOR America

In the last few months we have dominated the news cycle, turned up the heat on House Republicans, and moved House Democrats to file a discharge petition that could force a vote on comprehensive immigration reform. We’ve made it clear that we are not backing down. Our fight is far from over and we need your leadership and support for the next battle in this campaign.

Will you join us on Thursday, April 3 at 7PM EST/4PM PST (8PM EST/5PM PST in Spanish) to discuss the strategy to win and our next steps to end the deportations and force a vote on citizenship?

Join activists across the country, coalition partners, and immigration champion Representative Steven Horsford (D-NV) to discuss the strategic next steps of our campaign to win reform. Our movement has made it this far because of you. You are the heart of this campaign, and together we will get across the finish line.

Join us on Thursday, April 3 at 7pm EST/4PT PST (8PM EST/5PM PST for Spanish) to help us win the fight for comprehensive immigration reform!

With hope,

Thank you, Governor Inslee HB1840

Today is a special day. 3/28/2014

Minutes ago, Governor Jay Inslee signed HB 1840 into law, a bill we fought very, very hard to pass.

It will save lives by ensuring that people currently under restraining orders or subject to similar protective orders will have to temporarily turn in their firearms if the court feels they’re a threat.

Say Thanks!

It’s a very simple — but very powerful — reform that will save lives while preserving the rights of gun owners. This is exactly the kind of commonsense reform that we wanted to make a reality when we created the Washington Alliance for Gun Responsibility.

Please take a moment to join me, and sign our thank you card for Governor Inslee.

Thank you for your support.
