Make the World Safe: Get Involved, Tell Your Friends

In late July and early August, Countdown to Zero, a major motion picture about nuclear weapons, will debut in cities throughout the country. This film provides a tremendous opportunity to educate and engage the public on this critical issue and impact the current debate in Congress about the new U.S.-Russia Strategic Nuclear Arms Treaty (New START).

Watch the TrailerNew START has helped create a historic moment and we need your help and involvement to make the most of it—to help others in your community understand that the threat posed by nuclear weapons is grave and urgent, that they are a liability, and that New START represents a critical first step in reducing these dangers.

Here’s how you can help:

Watch the trailer—Be sure to share it with your friends, neighbors, or colleagues. Then go see the movie and bring others along. Click here to find out when and where the movie will play in your area.

Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper that stresses why nuclear weapons are a liability, why the New START agreement is a critical step in nuclear risk reduction, and tells people about Countdown to Zero and why they should see the film.
