Senate Schedule for Thursday, February 6, 2014
The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Thursday, February 6, 2014.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.1845, the Unemployment Insurance Extension act with the time until 11:00am equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders or their designees.
The filing deadline for all first degree amendments to S.1845 is 9:45am on Thursday and the filing deadline for 2nd degree amendments to the Reed amendment #2714 and S.1845 is 10:45am on Thursday.
At 11:00am, there will be up to 2 roll call votes:
– Motion to invoke cloture on the Reed amendment #2714 and
– if cloture is not invoked on the Reed amendment, motion to invoke cloture on S.1845.
We also expect to consider the nomination of Senator Baucus to be Ambassador to China during Thursday’s session.
