RAN and Amazon Watch along with the creative geniuses at the Yes Men and Funny or Die have been having an absolute field day these last two weeks derailing Chevron’s new multimillion dollar “We Agree” ad campaign. It’s been grand. Chevron’s ads claim “oil companies should support the communities they’re a part of,” while in reality, the oil giant is still refusing to clean the toxic pollution it left in the Ecuadorean Amazon which is poisoning thousands of Indigenous peoples there.
