the Senate Convenes at 3:00pmET June 18, 2012

Following the prayer and the pledge, the Majority Leader will be recognized.
The Senate will continue to debate S.3240, the Farm bill. We continue to work on an agreement on amendments to the bill.
At 5:00pm, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider Executive Calendar #612, the nomination of Mary Geiger Lewis, of SC, to be United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina with up to 30 minutes of debate equally divided and controlled between Senators Leahy and Grassley or their designees.
Upon the use or yielding back of time (at approximately 5:30pm), there will be a roll call vote on confirmation of the Lewis nomination.

10:03:27 A.M.		PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE – The Chair led the House in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
10:03:55 A.M.		The Speaker announced that the House do now adjourn pursuant to a previous special order. The next meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on June 18, 2012.
