Your Senators are about to cast a vote that matters tremendously for women.
The U.S. Attorney General is responsible for enforcing federal laws, many of which have a serious impact on the legal rights and futures of women across this country. We need a strong Attorney General with extensive legal expertise, breadth and depth of experience, and a strong commitment to equal justice and the rule of law.
We need Loretta Lynch to be the next Attorney General.

Ms. Lynch’s qualifications are unassailable. Her legal experience has been both broad and deep, including time in private practice, teaching, and significant government service. Twice, she has served as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York — and was confirmed unanimously by the Senate to that position.
She’s built a reputation as a fair and even-handed prosecutor with exceptional dedication to the rule of law. Ms. Lynch’s work has earned her the support of dozens of current and former government officials on both sides of the aisle, individuals, and organizations.
If confirmed, she would also be the first African-American woman to serve as Attorney General.
Thank you for everything you do to advance the rights of women and girls.
Sincerely,
Marcia Greenberger
Co-President
National Women’s Law Center
