The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to a period of morning business with the time equally divided until 10:30am. At 10:30am, the Senate will recess subject to the call of the Chair to allow for the Joint Meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister. When the Senate reconvenes following the Joint Meeting, it will resume consideration of H.R.1191, the legislative vehicle for the Iran Congressional Review Act.
As a reminder, on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., His Excellency Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan, will address a Joint Meeting of Congress from the Hall of the House of Representatives in the U.S. Capitol. Senators should begin gathering in the Senate Chamber at 10:35 a.m. to depart as a body at 10:40 a.m. for the Hall of the House.
