Today, we have a full moon, it’s the last day of summer and a whole lot of sunshine is still expected in the 206. The people of Seattle are excited that President Obama not only called the Seattle Storm to congratulate them for their 2^nd WNBA title but they have been invited to the White House. In other news; some new rules from the work the Democratic Party did to reform health care will start today. The President will be announcing how our new health care laws will help you out if you have children in college explain how your insurance can no longer drop you based on your illness and more. Which by the way starts 9.23.2010

We Democrats are in the fight for our lives …we not only have to beat back the Media but comments coming from folks on the floor of Congress like McCain,Mitchell and others have the guts to lie and wait for someone to challenge them… McCain says S.3454 was a ploy Mitchell says they “Dems” are trying to sedate their base the special interest groups.

I would like to respond to the nasty man McConnell & McCains comment about S.3454 beingin a political ploy …. God i hope so because it’s clear Republicans don’t give a shit about Americans in general to have voted no on every piece of legislation that would have gotten us closer to the improvement folks are now complaining about… To be sure the problem standing in the way of progress ? Republicans!!! Ask your Republican member of Congress if they voted yes to any legislation that would have helped get the middle class back on track.

In my need to constantly express how important it is that our Democratic Party get energy needed to throw down with votes in November. The difference between the two Political Parties is evident but we have major obstacles when it comes to getting our message into the airwaves. The media has made a decision to go with controversy instead of what used to be called fair and balanced News information making it quite likely that folks do not get or care to listen to the facts about why we are all still suffering. This election year is important because we need more true Democrats on the floor of Congress to get that change 53% voted for in 2008. We need to help not make it hard on our party; we are the change we have all been looking for and though folks may be down about the crap being done or lack there of; sitting this election year out is totally unacceptable and will only hurt our case and our future. The November elections are only six weeks away and people who are not registered to vote should; you are obligated to. I am not going to ask that you vote my way, that usually is on the agenda of anyone asking for people to register to vote… my guess is that we all see what is going on, have some sense of right and wrong, watched what happened on 9/11, Katrina, Africa, the BP mess, the constant rhetoric that seems not only racists but folks are not just right of center those who seemed moderate are now going hard right with an ideology that seems to speak out against those of us in Protected Classes. If so, We need to Unite and vote this creeps out of office in November because unless and until we do the talk will move into action and that needless to say will be against families in this 21^st Century, against progress of and for All Americans not just a select few Newt, Limbaugh beck and the others are talking about. I have been a democrat forever and feel that ultimately the things going on are all non-partisan realities, that the 2 party thing needs to end because we are all in this together and can all be taken out as well. It goes without saying we are all affected by bad air, bad roads, health care, heart attacks, low wages, bad education, wars. It seems like the 2party system is not working for anyone and when the majority has trouble passing legislation it begs the question maybe something needs to change. I know it is not just me feeling that the filibuster and the 60vote rule need to go or at least be changed to majority rules. I use to think maybe we should end our 2 party system and just vote on the person who seems to be the most qualified to do the job. Then our economy collapsed and the good bad and really ugly side of people became worse as our Public Servants decided to throw Americans under the bus with an agenda to regain control of Congress. It is not lost on me but maybe it is on Republican constituents that folks on the right do not even seem to care if their own followers have jobs, have unemployment, keep Teachers in place or that the streets will continue to be monitored because … People your Republican Representatives voted no to HR1586 some even called it a bailout …If anyone had sense who is currently calling themselves a Republican would without a blink vote for the Democratic party but instead crazy people are being voted into possible positions of power some are by default and all this madness we see on tv has gotten me scared as a mom, person of colour and as female who believe in the right to choose believes that women should get equal pay for equal work and the rhetoric should have more people outraged and ready for November because it is a pivotal moment.

I know that Republicans cannot be counted on to solve discrimination, reform immigration laws that are silly, stop the poor from getting poorer, stop tax breaks that benefit the rich, oil drilling that threaten to damage our environment, reform education that seems to be compromised, government officials that are crooks, big companies allowed to rip the American worker of all it was working for, laws that can tell people what they do behind closed doors makes them unacceptable and unable to have equality, women who do the same or similar job as men but get paid .77 on the dollar, colleges, offices, businesses that by- pass racial balance, police that participate in racial profiling, we live in a system that has different laws for different states, maybe future laws will at least be updated, those that are ridiculous omitted and the balance of the rule of law will be placed on the same level in each and every state. Republicans are the problem in my opinion.

We the people seem too quiet- too complacent.

Today, President Obama will be at a 200-person town-hall meet-up to answer questions and hosted by John Harwood CNBC called “Investing in America” today at noon ET … tune in!

I am very upset that regular Americans are this mad that they don’t seem to care who gets into political power and We the People need to get folks informed, educated and understand that we are at a moment that will decide what happens to ALL of us not a select few it will be what gets us all back on track, will be the America that actually respects the rights given to us by our founding fathers …not the misguided or manipulated ideology the hard right is offering up.

The double standard that is the Republican party not only is very annoying it is offensive and it makes you wonder if the people voting these folks into positions of power care about the rest of us. This last week we hear that the tea party led by unqualified VP candidate and quitter ex-Gov Palin is making strides with several candidates running for Senate. The Republican Party should tell Christine O’Donnell that your past matters. I feel she should stop being a two faced opponent! actually that goes for any candidate on the right running for office …stop trying to be act or portray yourselves as being better than the rest of us. If you have plans to represent the people you and your past is important and people need full disclosure or at leas enough info to make intelligent choices in the voting booth.

The family values Summit sounded like a new KKK meeting. I say this because of the extreme comments,behavior and ideologies of those on the right that want to re-dress the civil rights amendment, anchor baby talk, terrorist baby talk, the idea of making Muslims register, the signs at protests and the conversations on radio by Limbaugh, beck and more …these people equal crazy with their purity hard right and so-called orthodox membership requirements … who else can belong and be non-white considering their beliefs? That is my opinion.

It was a disturbing outcome to know anyone would listen to Palin speak let alone understand her cliché-ridden comments disguised as speeches and campaigns. As a woman she does not represent me; she talks about family values but clearly she is not a fan of families otherwise she would not be against what family means in this 21st Century. The 14th amendment covers all of us but she and her pack of religious political extremists want to tell Americans how to run their lives calling them socially responsible people; possibly run our government into the ground. If i am even hearing them correctly the folks on the right want smaller government which means privatizing just about everything and you do not have to be a rocket scientist to know what that will do to the middle and or the lower class. It will kill government jobs. it will divide families. What is it that people have to hear or see in order to understand that Republicans do not have our or their own best interest at heart. In the 90’s Newt and his group managed to shut-down our government and along with costing Americans 800 million dollars, we lost a 1 million jobs, police, firefighters which if you have an imagination …think about the chaos and destruction to our already recession ridden country this would create and no one to help keep rule of law in place.

My rant today is about Republicans and the double standard these ugly awful people are about and this includes Christine O’Donnell. There are reports and actual video out there that proves not only is she having financial problems, paid her mom about 3000 for misc duties and was living off the money as well. Then Bill Maher confesses he actually is the one who created O’Donnell as well as a few other conservative female politicos and i get it he knows her and likes her …fine but after everything she and her Political Party of No have said about our President’s religion, family and beliefs hearing her say on camera that she dabbled in things…past present or future is important information that we all need to take seriously. I am very offended by the fact that not only did O’Donnell cancel all of her appearances she shrugged her shoulders and has made light of it of the things she said, attributing them to being in high school. There are quite a few Republican candidates who have no business in any position of power let alone a Public Servant serving all Americans …We can be mad at how things are, you can vote to change the ways things are but to vote for crazy people who definitely have problems and are willing to point at our President as the one who has real issues, is not an American, is a secret Muslim, socialist blah blah blah… is absurd.

It is my opinion that Christine O’Donnell, Sharron Angle Bachmann and the rest of the crazies are liabilities to Americans because they are too extreme, do not believe in equality for all…If they did most of them would not question the intent of the 14th amendment, a woman’s right to choose, immigration civil rights, gays and or religious freedom. To continue; the list of things folks on the right want or will take away from Americans which includes Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid is very long. They want to repeal, shut down the government and stop parents from being able to cover their children with their health-care insurance until they are 26 yrs old. They want to let drs/hosp continue to discriminate against people for having a pre-existing condition. People need to do their homework and get the facts instead of listening to a group of people only giving out the bad side of HCR. The fact is anything and everything that has a financial association to our government had to be reformed …get informed people

Sunday Buzz… Is your Democratic member of congress among those 31 House or Senate democrats foolish enough to ignore the high percentage of Americans who want to keep the tax cuts for the middle class and allow the Bush tax cuts to expire as scheduled. I am surprised, offended and perplexed at how this Congress of democrats have showed us that they are subject to or are liabilities to the change 53% voted for in 2008. It is absolutely apparent that this group of 31 and that doesn’t imply flavor; it truly is a group that is not acting in their or our best interest by breaking away from what most Americans have been polled as a good move. I and hopefully others will start calling your member of Congress to find out if in fact they are among those currently anonymous blue dogs conservadems or truly the ones we need to vote out of office because not only they proven they are not true democrats they have decided to ignore Americans -you 31 are standing in the way of getting the middle class back on track.

Today the weather is a mix of things that let you know fall is here and maybe as our weather people are warning… snow is coming this year.

There are issues coming up in Washington State that threaten personal choice they actually would threaten our overall health care choices and the reform we now have in place. If these issues of health care are challenged here in the state of Washington, the move to do so on a national level is sure to come. The main issue is birth control but that can be subdivided on all levels from drugs to in office procedures that in my opinion violate my rights as an individual my privacy and my life. The idea that any pharmacist who opts in to getting public or government funding has the right to say no or refuse to dispense the night after pill or any contraceptive is outrageous. There are laws in place already and should be left alone yet quietly in states like mine, folks have been challenging them left putting the regions officials on edge to do something. The results from pro-lifers might move from just efforts to win the right for pharmacists to refuse to dispense contraceptives into changing or ruling against individual rights and or a woman’s right to choose to being something else. Women who believe in fair and balanced health care for all need to be ready to stand up for a right to choose being challenged by both sides of the aisle in the coming months.

If anyone out there is sane enough to understand just how ugly the Newt rhetoric was getting before the latest conservative summits. The fact is he has just moved to a new low. I suggest going to the Cnn website or mobile and read Fareed Zacharias’ article covering the nasty words gingrich had to say about our “Democratic establishment”. In my opinion it was self-serving, he comes out on the last day of their radical movement meeting talking a 2012 run, blasts murkowski for running a write in campaign and his truly nasty, truly un-American disrespectful comments about President Obama thrown at the pack of dogs like red meat. This is the same guy who verbally beat up on Christine O’Donnell a few days ago who has had to walk that back in his speech, probably gave a significant amount of dollars, and is apologizing to everyone. I wonder if he had to bow down to Limbaugh as well. He is now in full Republican effect; preaching at how great she and the tea party are …come on us all at risk if he and their flock gain control …anyway, the article is a sad reminder of how low your fellow man can actually go in order to get control over another… very primal and ugly to be sure. Republicans play both sides of all the issues if they will serve them in the name of Profits and it is very offensive to me.

The Media has branded this political year as the year of the woman. I admit there are quite a few women from the Republican Party running for office in various states all over the country but not one candidate truly represents women in their best light. The fact is they all are against the right to choose, most are against gays and a couple feel women in the Military is definitely a no no. To say these ideals are against family is to say i have a nose on my face. They are women who live different lives than the rest of us and if i am hearing them right they intend to not only push their personal ideologies on me but will try to put them in to law. That is just wrong, it is offensive, and dare i say against the whole separation of church and state… right? Though I am no expert when it comes to individual rights, it is apparent that folks on the right feel Americans get too many entitlements like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and intend to take some if not all of my individual rights. The behavior from these so-called women on the right have embarrassed me as a woman in general on so many levels and continue to as they open up their mouths to say things that have moved from nasty sarcasm to what I consider extreme ideology to racist and or inappropriate comments. The notion that any public figure or who wants to call themselves a Public Servant and or representative of the people should be speaking and representing one nation under god, not just a select few which is all I get from the conservative extreme right.

If you watch the rallies, town halls and meet ups -there is an obvious lack of people of colour, oh there is a token handful, but the reality is this group talks about taking their country back but where did it go and take it back from who and where or what will they do with it. It started back when Palin tapped to grab women voters from Clinton. I was very offended the first time i heard Sarah Palin speak. I am still offended by her and her willingness to go so extreme that Americans are now fighting each other as the haves and have not now have almost nothing. Republicans have managed to manipulate the public and the media by blaming this current administration. It is odd so many have forgotten what happened let alone how the media is willing to let misleading information continue to get on tv or into the airwaves. The fact remains that the house of Bush could have stopped this calamity called an economic collapse way before it occurred but they did not. The blame is the Republican party stalling, blocking and voting no to legislation that could had the bills been big enough helped or solved the problem but no the Party of NO wants control and has been willing since President Obama was elected throwing Americans under the bus every time a bill gets on the floor of the Senate Republicans say one thing and do another and We the People fail to get back on track, our economy fails and any progress needed to get us into the 21^st Century fails. I had managed to stay away from the “social media” network thang .

.. i was busy but then this unqualified cliché driven talker who did not seem to be educated on anything about foreign policy let alone what was going on in the world and forced me to blog my heart out make phone calls and speak up and out that this woman does not represent me as a woman, a mom or worker. The idea that she would be next in line if something happened to the guy running for President was definitely a scary proposition and thank goodness, other women saw what our future would look like.

We are a few weeks away from the November elections and the Media has begun pulling out all the video of those on both sides of the Political aisle claiming they are the ones to vote for because …you fill in the reasons. What I have noticed is that the Republican party has women candidates that may put families at risk if they win. The efforts to move Americans to ideologies that are definitely right of center are bad enough. We hear the crap about the current President about being a Socialist but Boehner Bachmann and others on the right want us to have less government maybe less money for ok, think about that what would your neighborhood look like without Teachers, Police, EMTs, and Firefighters? Yes, they want to privatize everything and that would mean a huge increase in costs that absolutely would have no cap on the amount and or when that increase would come. It is happening now with health care and has been for years. The costs of privatization would be bad for the disabled, elderly, the current and new poor created by all the NO votes in Congress by Republicans and other who have been putting profits before people. As a woman and mom, I am concerned about the possibility of Palin getting opportunity to gain any position of power let alone the other women who are anti-establishment candidates because they are dangerous to family values and what rights we were all given as Americans.

The Tea Party or Republican ideologies or family values group embrace an extreme view on all things that I feel are about my personal life and should be left alone by the likes of a Palin,Bachmann, O’Donnell and other women on the right. Unfortunately, there are more pro-life women breaking the barrier and have crossed the line by getting into a position of holding political office. The reality is not just grim it begs all members of the Democratic Party with families prepare to fight against the possibilities of a Republican take down with our votes for equal rights not for those who want us to do as they say not as they do. They portray themselves as the family values party but even that is laughable if not offensive at best. Family is more than just one man and one woman married with children. In this 21^st Century the meaning of family is indefinable and should be left to the individual not manipulated but this group seems devoted to renounce “separation of church and state”

The fact is the difference between the Democratic and the Republican Parties are our ideologies

I started listening to the rhetoric in the news here in Seattle about birth control issues currently being challenged and realized that women need to be outraged. I know people are thinking why but start listening …keep your ears open to the rhetoric coming from those grizzly moms out there locally and on a national level. The religious right or the tea party see a right to choose an evil thing,pro-life means telling others what they can do with their bodies and should be forced into going full term no matter what the circumstance. If we allow Christine O’Donnell and the group of do as we say get into power the right to choose will be one of the first things they target. Women who believe in the right to choose must be prepared to speak up and out or march if needed to keep the current law in place. . i read about partial abortion and the procedure… clearly it involves steps that most of us would not go through unless it was absolutely needed… why have a vote on a common sense procedure that is my individual choice, my body and my money being used to pay for the procedure if i so choose. I would wager to say that a licensed doctor would not do this operation without it being the only way to help the health of the woman needing the procedure. The most important aspect of a right to choose is the life of a mother and her individual right to any procedure valid medical reason that should remain confidential and info kept between a women and her Doctor. The idea that a personal procedure paid for by the individual in most cases needed to be put into law is absurd to me, then actual people in political office began to push their religious ideologies and women all over the country had to stand up and say we demand the right to choose. In 1976, the Hyde Amendment became law but it has been that thing in the room Republicans and some conservadems want to manipulate; wanting women to go full term even if the circumstances might be questionable, bad, or ugly. I do not understand this attitude, this old style behavior of keeping women barefoot and pregnant or at least the image comes up when you hear pro-lifers talk. It is offensive and in this 21st Century, no one should have the right to tell me as an individual what to do with my body. Women need to stay prepared to speak up and out against those in Congress who intend to take up efforts to hold abortion rights as hostage ask to manipulate the current law then take the next step to ban abortions altogether.

Today the President will announce the appointment of Liz Warren, will set-up the Consumer Agency in charge of financial regulation. That is my take on it.

My question for all you mostly sane people today is: what would your neighborhood look like without Teachers, Police, EMTs, Firefighters and other public workers that might be unemployed if the Democratic Party had not passed HR1586. Do you have families that are Public Service Employees if so; you should be outraged that folks like Bachman, Boehner called HR1586 a bailout. Republicans are using Americans as pawns to gain back control of Congress and make no mistake they are willing to throw All of us under the bus. FYI that includes their own constituents who seem to be complacent about it all -which by definition is: To be content and satisfied with your life and surroundings, even when something which may destroy these conditions is imminent.

We have all been watching a lot of election propaganda over the last few months and the biggest shock for me is that old-style southern rhetoric usually held mostly from people from the South is now coming from states all over the country. Have people lost their minds? I have faith that there are enough people who believe the extremists running for office are unqualified and have no place in Public Service.

I was surprised to see so many people on the Gulf Coast willing to stick with their republican representatives with all the bad governing going on over the last decade or more. The catastrophe of Katrina and now the BP oil disaster responses by local government would have made me do a total about face but it seems like that is not the case for the residents in the South. I know that the Southern States lean toward the right but some have made a choice to move even more toward radical leadership. There are many examples but with folks like Rubio; the so-called front runner according to the polls it is quite disappointing that folks in the South have yet to break out and away from Republican ideology because life there would change for the better in my opinion. We still have time to change the way things are. We all need to stop standing on the sidelines watching and waiting for more progressive attitudes, for new policies, new leadership in parts of country that are now anti-government, possibly more racists than we all thought, against health care reform, against comprehensive immigration and gays. We can combat the crazies but it is time to get serious and get out the vote and put more Democrats in Congress in the mid-term November elections.

It is not lost on me that Americans need a push into the 21st century. The leadership we need will think about how to better all our current positions in life; globally, environmentally, emergency response personnel who are not only educated about the area they oversee but are compassionate, allow stem-research, respect a woman’s right to choose, equal wages for women, health care for all families. The fact is President Obama has gotten Congress to pass legislation that will be good for middle class families but to get the change 53% of we voted for we need more true democrats on the floor of Congress. It is important that we do not repeat history by understanding the past. The house of Bush led us into 2wars that we definitely needed to change direction on but could not afford to just pickup and leave. Then we were all forced to live differently…clearly 9/11, Katrina and so many other issues have changed our lives and if you are paying attention some of those citizens have yet to actually get their lives back and that is something President Obama is and will continue to work on with those willing, able in partnership to get All Americans back to work

Yes, we continue to go through non-partisan realities and while it would have made more sense to work on change not as democrats and republicans but as we the people with different opinions, different values but with knowledge that we need to accept our differences make compromises, fix the corruption in politics, accept people as they are by enforcing our Constitution to reflect our 21^st Century living. The idea that folks should be able to control how you live whether a person is gay straight is absurd but now folks have been abusing our constitution daily, using the gay life style as an excuse to hurt and or otherwise commit criminal acts, allow immigrants to immigrate based on fair legal means a path that acknowledges that most that work pay into our social security system and they should be recognized, respect our elderly and realize that major corporations are using the house of bush moving work overseas getting labor for cheap prices… we must stop outsourcing jobs, stop Republicans from being the Political Party of NO or step over them because their actions have made living hard on the American family.

This week the 206 has had good bad and somewhat pleasant weather. The left coast is definitely experiencing fall with a little bit of heat now and then. The dog days of summer are waning.

President Obama will be in Connecticut for 2 fund raisers, has put Liz Warren in charge of setting up the Consumer Agency we all know was needed and is now going to help protect if not advocate and enforce financial reform. There are reports that President Obama has ordered all oil and gas platforms that are unused closed. All I can say is finally. The facts are that the latest explosions have created chaos and are unsafe for the workers as well as exposing the truth of limited and or no inspections or improvements done in years, which just seems unreal. We all have to ask why these things were left unattended to for so long and is this yet another gaffe on the part of last President as well as the local state government officials. The latest explosions in the mining and or energy industries have created deaths that could have been avoided but because we have a President willing to act swiftly for the safety of All Americans future deaths on such high risk jobs should be reduced or stopped. It also is just one of many examples of this being the moment for America to move forward into the 21st Century people.

We are all inclined to being competitive by nature … yet on some level everyone wants all people to be civil, prosper, and seek opportunity, which sounds great until the ideology of us against them comes up. Republicans have become the group that has now outed themselves as the Political Party against the Middle-Class. If people would just take the time to read listen and understand what the Boehner’s, Bachmann, mcconnells,mccain, cantor and more are doing and saying: the difference is ideology it is one group who feels the middle class needs to be put back on track thus getting and or starting the economy back up. The 2Wars, AIG, housing bubble and the 2 huge Tax Cuts for the wealthy got us into trouble and as far as i can tell most Republicans plan to go back to the way Bush ruled and that has to be a sign, a warning to people out there on the fence. Any vote for the Democratic Party is a vote for moving into the 21st Century and as we all know Americans are suffering, have been for decades. This is a moment to make changes to help everyone not just a select few contrary to what Republicans offer. Is it hard to understand that had Bush and his admin done what was right our economy; meaning the Banks, Auto industry and anything related would not have needed a huge amount of cash thrown at it to save it. It is true and unfortunate that Republicans have been able to reduce legislation that the impact on our economy is slow. The stimulus bill; had it been larger would have stimulated the economy faster, the rich, middle and lower class would be in much better shape but Republicans have a different plan and it includes throwing All Americans under the bus in order to gain back control. Think about what it will mean to you and your family if Republicans gain back control. Ask yourself, can we afford another or absolute crash to our economy. Can we endure the threat to shut down our economy and will the middle class, the poor, disabled, elders, and people of colour be apart of the plan or victims of the Republicans because repealing, shutting down or anything else they plan to do if in control will have consequences and impact all of us.

The 9/11 and Katrina catastrophes were not just examples of bad governing they made me realize that the cold truth to how Republicans would handle a true disaster on our home land. It was embarrassing to know that warnings of possible levee failures and repairs needed were not taken seriously. I still cannot understand why the Army Corp did not make them as prescribed. How many people lost their lives that day because of incompetence by local and state government officials who failed to have a comprehensive emergency plan. It is now 10 years later and people are either still struggling or were forced to make the difficult choice of relocating and is it just me or has the NYC local and state government decided to save money, clear out the poor and wait for the value to increase and rebuild in order to make money. There are reports that the 9/11 site created health issues for the first responders and still might be an issue but what they should have done was to confirm the health risks and then deal with it.

The facts behind why our economy crashed has been forgotten by many but the house of Bush made decisions that hurt the middle class and these same errors will be repeated by current Republicans if they gain control of Congress. The last guy sent huge sums of money to Iraq instead of spending that money on Americans. It should upset and outrage everyone. I have my theories about the truth behind our crash but here we are; we have a financial mess that is local and global because we are all connected yet a large group refuses to accept that. We have a new President that come in to clean up the big mess left by the last guy. It is obvious big things had to be done to fix the mess of the last eight years. Think about it, after years of tax cuts given to the people making the most obviously wealthy and though they claim to be the ones creating not just jobs but are providing opportunities? The fact is that the money did not trickle down then, it still is not and will not trickle down to the middle class .The fact is people that the WEALTHY stopped spending and started saving, yes; too many people were given loans for housing …it was a big mistake… loans were given to people who could not pay because the money seemed unending, greed and someone felt let the next guy fix the problem and instead of taking hold of the problem and solving the last guy passed the worthless buck and gave it to our new President. President Obama has a huge mess to fix and those of us who have been watching know Republicans have tried to back him into a corner forcing him to be seen not only as a failure but loose votes from the very people who voted him into office. The problem is can people who vote see the BS that is truly the Republican Party of NO? We have come a long way with great legislation put into place to help all Americans but because Republicans have stalled, blocked, and scaled down a lot of legislation so we continue to dig ourselves out of a recession …people need to wake up see the light find the Jesus moment and realize the only way for us to get back on track is to get more democrats in Congress.

I ask – what would your neighborhood look like had Republicans been successful in blocking HR1586, called a bailout by Bachmann, Boehner said when will the bailouts end…Come on HR1586 keeps our children’s Teachers employed, keeps our Police employed and the streets safer, our homes and elderly able to get help if and or they need it. These things would be unavailable people . This is no joke folks , it is not propaganda; all anyone has to do is remember search and or read your history.

For 22 months Republicans have made it impossible to get out of the Recession ditch completely with no votes on legislation that would impact the middle and lower class. Now, two years later people who use to be considered middle-class are now experiencing what is like being out of a job, being homeless, being on food stamps is a non-partisan issue, yet, Republicans do not agree. Again, they have voted no, blocked and made Harry Reid scale down legislation that could not only have gotten us out of this recession, reduced unemployment, create more jobs and the nasty hate rhetoric now being used overtly probably would be but a memory. Republicans have yet to move past being left out of the plans for the stimulus, health care and financial reform bills but were willing to get on the floor of Congress and filibuster all our chances as Americans to get back on track because they want President Obama to fail. The things that no American should forget because as Public Servants we expect them to behave at a higher standard than the average American but the comments made that any legislation would be President Obama’s waterloo, the outburst that Joe Wilson had during our President’s speech will not be forgotten. When you listen to those on the right like fox news spewing hate and engaging in fear mongering on any given day; it makes you wonder what really is the motive and could people who once seemed reasonable truly believe the nonsense that these people are willing to say just to get attention or stop any progress related to all the issues on the minds and table of Americans.

It is offensive as an American to hear the comments thrown out there at my President by those on the right or Public Servants let alone to the office of President

President Obama genuinely tried to be bipartisan and while those left of center were becoming more and more upset our President who I believe understands politics a lot better than the pundits remained cool accepted the comments being made behind his back and now we all know the plan was to embarrass him. The old school politics would continue to be a battle. Mr. Boehner is just one example of putting ones Party first before America. We have millions of people still hurting, even Republican mayors and governors came forward to say vote yes, yet Boehner and his associates agreed to meet with the President in private; made comments on national tv that they would like to see the proposal before making any decisions then told his fellow Republicans to vote no to anything offered up. This showed just what kind of person he and some of the Republicans are and M. Steele stating that,” being bipartisan is overrated ” shows that Republicans see politics as a game — Republicans see We the people as pawns willing to withhold help real Americans need.
