The Senate will convene at 2:00pm on Monday, July 8, 2013.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business until 5:00pm with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
At 5:00pm, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider Executive Calendar #90, the nomination of Gregory Alan Phillips, of Wyoming, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Tenth Circuit with 30 minutes of debate equally divided and controlled between Senators Leahy and Grassley or their designees.
Upon the use or yielding back of time (at approximately 5:30pm), there will be a roll call vote on confirmation of the Phillips nomination.

the Senate considers S.744,Border Sec. &Econ Op the Senate CONGRESS the House

The Senate stands in adjournment until 12:00pm on Monday, June 24, 2013.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act. The time until 5:30pm will be equally divided and controlled between the two Managers’ or their designees.
During Friday’s session of the Senate, cloture was filed on the Leahy amendment #1183, as modified. As a result, the filing deadline for all 2^nd degree amendments to the bill is 4:00pm Monday.
At 5:30pm, there will be a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Leahy amendment #1183, as modified (by the Corker-Hoeven language regarding border security) to S.744.

As a reminder, last week Senator Reid filed cloture on the Leahy amendment #1183, as modified. That cloture vote will occur at 5:30pm today. If cloture is invoked there would be up to 30 hours for debate prior to a vote on adoption of the Leahy amendment, as modified (late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning if all time is sued).

The filing deadline for second degree amendments to Leahy amendment #1183, as modified, is 4:00pm today. If your senator has a germane second degree amendment, please send a signed copy of the amendment to the cloakroom prior to the deadline so that we may file it at the desk for you.

Today Senator Reid filed cloture on the committee-reported substitute amendment to S.744, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill, and the underlying bill. Under the rule, the filing deadline for 1^st degree amendments to the committee reported substitute, as amended, is 1:00pm tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25. Barring any further agreement, the cloture vote on the committee reported substitute amendment, as amended, would occur 1 hour after the Senate convenes Wednesday. If cloture is invoked on the substitute, there would be an additional 30 hours for debate prior to a vote on adoption of the substitute. Upon disposition of the substitute, the Senate would then proceed to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the underlying bill, as amended. There would then be another 30 hours of post-cloture debate.

Senator Reid also filed cloture on the underlying bill.
