The Senate stands in adjournment until 9:30am on Thursday, June 20, 2013.

Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act.

The time until 11:30pm will be equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders or their designees.

Senator Reid will be recognized at 11:30am.

Senators should expect the first vote of the day to begin at approximately 11:30am in relation to an amendment to the Immigration Reform bill.

Negotiations continue on a path forward on amendments to the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill. Last night we thought we would vote around 11:30am, but the Leader has been asked to move that to noon. At noon Senator Reid will either table one of the pending amendments or we will have a path forward and conduct a series of votes. The managers of the bill are working with both sides on how we can consider the next tranche of amendments.

Senators should be prepared for roll call votes to occur throughout the day.

Based on the highest annual of three previous calendar years of their milk marketings, dairy producers are allowed to elect their coverage level and the percentage of coverage up to 80% at the start of the program and annually thereafter. Dairy producers are also allowed to update their production history annually. The Secretary is required to make payments to dairy producers enrolled in the program whenever the actual dairy producer margin drops below $4.00 (or below a higher level of coverage up to $8.00). The amendment leaves the rest of the underlying dairy title intact, including the removal of the Dairy Product Price Support Program, the MILC Program, and the Dairy Export Assistance Program and the reauthorization of the 1996 FMMO additional order provision.

The Senate will not be in session on Wednesday, June 5^th in order to allow Senators to attend the funeral services of Senator Lautenberg.
The Senate stands in adjournment under the provisions of S.Res.161, as a further mark of respect to the memory of the late Senator Frank R. Lautenberg of New Jersey.
The Senate will convene at 9:00am on Thursday, June 6, 2013.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.954, the Farm bill.
During Tuesday’s session of the Senate, cloture was filed on S.954, the Farm bill.
As a result, the filing deadline for first degree amendments to the bill is 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 5^th (notwithstanding the Senate not being in session).

The Senate stands in adjournment until 2:00pm on Monday, May 20, 2013.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business until 3:00pm.

Following morning business, the Senate will proceed to the consideration of S.954, the Farm bill.

At 5:00pm, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider the following items:
- Executive Calendar #45, the nomination of Sheri Polster Chappell, of Florida, to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida and
- Executive Calendar #46, the nomination of Michael J. McShane, of Oregon, to be United States District Judge for the District of Oregon.
There will be up to 30 minutes of debate equally divided and controlled by Senators Leahy and Grassley or their designees.

The Senate stands in adjournment until 2:00pm on Monday, May 13, 2013.

Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
During Thursday’s session, cloture was filed on S.601, the Water Resources Development Act. As a result, the filing deadline for all first degree amendments to S.601 is 4:00pm Monday.
As previously announced, there will be no roll call votes on Monday. The next roll call vote will be at approximately 12:00pm on the motion to invoke cloture on S.601, the Water Resources Development Act.
As a reminder, there is a 4pm filing deadline for first degree amendments to S.601, Water Resources Development Act. If your senator has a germane first degree amendment and would like to protect the right to offer, please send a signed copy of the amendment to the cloakroom prior to the deadline so that we may file it at the desk for you. If you have already filed, there is no need to re-file.Senator Reid said on the floor this afternoon that the managers are close to reaching an agreement to complete action of the WRDA bill. If an agreement can be reached, we could be in a position to vote in relation to amendments and passage of the bill Tuesday and/or Wednesday.
However, if an agreement cannot be reached, the cloture vote on the bill would occur at approximately 12:00 noon tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14.
This afternoon Senator Reid asked unanimous consent to go to conference on the
concurrent resolution on the Budget.
Senator Cruz was unavailable to be on the
floor at this time to object.
Out of respect for the long tradition of comity in
the Senate, Senator Reid withdrew his request.
