Tommy Thompson has hit rock bottom. On Monday, his campaign released a new ad that dishonestly attacks Tammy for voting against a cynical, politically-motivated resolution.
Make no mistake: Tommy is using 9/11 to score political points. But that’s not the worst part.
Tommy has also used 9/11 to score personal profits. He got a government contract to provide health care to first responders after the attacks. He put $3 million into his own pocket. But the first responders didn’t get the care they were promised.

Tommy knows that Tammy has supported nine different 9/11 memorial resolutions — and he knows that the one she voted against was intentionally politicized by Republicans looking to make 9/11 an election-year wedge issue.
But Tommy also knows he’s losing this race. And he’s desperate.
