Paul Ryan recently spoke to a group that advocates on behalf of senior citizens. He talked a good game, but failed to mention a few key points:

• Paul Ryan’s Republican budget would end Medicare as we know it.

• Paul Ryan’s Republican budget cuts Medicaid, which “would inevitably result in less coverage for nursing home residents,” according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

Let’s face it…. if I were the author of a budget that cuts into seniors’ earned safety net benefits, I wouldn’t want to tell the truth either.

Paul Ryan can’t hide from the backwards priorities he and his party have supported for the last four years. Sign our petition saying “No!” to the Ryan Budget.

I will never vote to turn traditional Medicare into a voucher program. I will never vote to gut programs that help seniors. And I will always fight to make sure seniors get the medical care they deserve.
