Following morning business, the Senate will resume consideration of S.178, a bill to provide justice for the victims of human trafficking.

As a reminder, Senator McConnell filed cloture (again) on the committee-reported substitute amendment to S.178 and on the underlying bill. The filing deadline for all first-degree amendments to the committee-reported substitute and the underlying bill is 1:00pm tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18. The cloture vote on the substitute would occur one hour after the Senate convenes on Thursday. Senator McConnell also entered a motion to reconsider today’s failed cloture votes and could reconsider those at any point.
