Stop ALEC from outsourcing jobs and public services

We have seen our jobs and public services outsourced for far too long. Groups like the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) lobby politicians to ship American jobs overseas to maximize corporate profits and privatize control of our government.

Tell your state legislators to stop outsourcing American jobs today!

Hidden from view at expensive junkets and back rooms, ALEC cajoles our elected officials to compromise the public’s interest. Instead, these crooked politicians agree to ALEC’s bidding by outsourcing the services we depend on like schools, police and fire departments.

This needs to stop.

Two Million Undocumented Immigrants Have Been Deported Since 2009

Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley says Baltimore will stop automatically detaining immigrants.
A moving story of a veteran, father, and small business owner who was arrested by armed immigration officials in his own home and then deported.
Speaker John Boehner, after dragging his feet, is apparently “hell bent” on passing immigration reform this year.

BOTTOM LINE: With each passing day, failure to pass comprehensive immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship costs more and more in economic benefits for the country and in families torn apart.
