Burn Pits 360 is a 501c3 non-profit Veterans organization. Our mission is to reintegrate, restore and build resilience through facilitating theunmet needs of warriors and their families through outreach, advocacy, educationand research.
Our vision is to empower and provide online and in person resources for survivalthrough training, peer support, case management services, referrals to communitybased care, claims assistance, social activities and family programs.
Our headquarters is a one-stop shop where warriors can access information ondeployment related exposures, access support services such as client specificprograms, resources and training tailored to individual needs. It will be equippedwith a care station, career closet, computer lab, recreation room, education roomand case management rooms.
Equipping our warriors along with their families for a successful transition intosociety bridges the gap between the unmet needs and the consequences felt bythose battling the effects of military deployment and war.
The Veteran and theirfamilies face barriers in accessing healthcare and services resulting in cases ofhomelessness, poverty and sometimes suicide. Our goal is to work with community stakeholders, citizens, Veterans organizationsand state and federal elected officials to serve our Veteran population and theirfamilies.
We have formed an alliance with researchers, doctors, veterans service organizations, veterans, service members, and their families allowing us to build a platform for public awareness.
Our legislative efforts include the passing of the National Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry Bill Public Law 112-260 in January 2013.
