I’ve spent the past five months touring the district and listening to my neighbors tell me what they want in their next representative.
I’ve heard from seniors concerned about preserving Medicare and parents worried about the cost of higher education. I’ve heard from men and women about Republican attacks on women’s health. And everywhere I’ve gone, I’ve heard from hard-working Americans about their desire for a fair shot at achieving the American Dream.
I want to share with you this look back at what I’ve learned:

This week, Elizabeth Warren CRUSHED Republican Senator Scott Brown in their third debate.
She vowed never to cut Social Security and Medicare benefits. She held Brown accountable for his pledge to never raise taxes on millionaires.
And Warren’s answer on women’s issues is being called “defining,” “stellar,” and “her best in any debate.”

We just launched our first TV ad of the general election, highlighting one of the many ways that Maria has made life better for the people of our state: by working with businesses to create jobs here in Washington, including for our veterans.
Too many veterans serve our country and then find it difficult to secure jobs when they return home. Maria knows that we’ve got to change that.
