Racism Is Real- Real Story Behind Baltimore

Brave New Films
To be a person of color in 2015 comes with shocking racial bias and discrimination in many aspects of your everyday life. Study after study has proved this through facts on hiring, criminal justice and more*.How to take those facts and reach an audience that would rather have a root canal than read a study was the task at hand for us at Brave New Films. And so we created, Racism is Real- the #BaltimoreUprising is a symptom of a much larger problem.

From understanding that reality, change can happen.

Help us give the gift of life

Thank you for your support this year. Because of you we are closer to metting our goal of planting ten million trees within the next five years.

In the new year, you can give the gift of a sustainable future by donating to plant trees in the world’s poorest communities.

Trees bring joy and festivity into people’s homes, it’s a symbol of new life.

But for many people, trees aren’t just about joy and celebration. They’re about providing food for their children, securing their land from erosion and feeding their livestock. They’re about providing long-term economic and environmental sustainability.

Each dollar you donate will help plant one tree.

Now, through Earth Day Network’s Canopy Project, you can even donate to plant a plot of trees in someone’s name and send it as a gift.

Your gift will help people and the planet we share.

Give the gift of trees today!

-The Earth Day Network Team

P.S. – Check out the special gifts from our partner

The world’s poorest communities need trees.

Every time we do a tree-planting, I hear  back from local residents, who tell us how the trees we’ve planted have helped  them provide for their families and have allowed them to live happier and  healthier lives.

They’re really thanking YOU, our generous  supporters. But our work is not done yet.

For every dollar you donate, we’ll plant one more  tree.

Trees provide food, energy and income, helping  communities to achieve long-term economic and environmental sustainability.  Trees also filter the air and help stave off the effects of climate change.

With your generous donation, you can improve the lives of  some of the world’s most vulnerable citizens.

Last year, Earth Day Network made an  important commitment to the Global Poverty Project to plant 10 million trees in impoverished areas  around the world over the next five years.

We need your help to meet our goal. Please  consider contributing to this critical effort today.

John Maleri
Associate Director of Earth Day, Earth Day  Network

P.S.  Thanks to our partners at WeWood, there’s a special new opportunity to support  The Canopy Project. You’ll receive a gift you’ll love!
