Voting While Black

Hi Friend,

Throughout the summer, Color Of Change PAC’s Voting While Black Leadership Trainings have been bringing together strategists, organizers and movement builders in select cities across the country.

These trainings are designed to equip Black voters with the skills and tools to create the future we envision for America. In fact, we’re holding a training in Detroit this weekend — August 18th-19th.

The response to our trainings has been amazing so far! Our work has even caught the eye of acclaimed film director Ava DuVernay. Watch the shoutout Ava DuVernay recorded for our amazing volunteer leaders and make sure to donate so that we can expand this crucial work!

This is a make or break moment for our nation. The 2018 midterm elections will directly impact the everyday lives of Americans for years to come, especially Black folks and our allies.

Investing in and training Black leaders is how we win elections! It’s how we’ll secure must-win races in Florida, Michigan, and across the country this year.

Watch the Ava DuVernay video and donate today to help build Black leadership and Black political power!

For a powerful 2018,

–Jenni, Arisha, Hope, Kwesi, Shannon, Alicia P., Victoria, Bhavik, Alicia W., Sonya, Jorge, Reagan, Daniel, Charles, Bradley, Scott and the Color Of Change PAC team
