Cheryl’s of Westerville, Ohio is recalling 10,588 individually wrapped 1.6 oz. Buttercream Frosted Cinnamon Pumpkin Cookies because the wrapper on these affected cookies may not specifically state that the cookie contains Peanuts, a known allergen.

People who have allergies to eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Salmolux of Federal Way, WA is recalling its cold smoked salmon products because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
