Did Mr Rather say the same thing in 2011 when President Obama ordered an absolute 6 month travel ban on ALL Iranians? Check it out, pretty sure a 90 day temporary ban is not unusual. Thanks for info!
I don’t know what Mr.Rather said in 2011,but i will assume he knows and understands the difference as there was an actual case of terrorism by a refugee then. I also believe steve bannon, a white nationalist and several of his associates worry most as they are not only in the White House but use breitbart,a alt-right mag that leans toward separatism among other things and to get their news out..this is probably another upsetting situation to him …it is for me. So, contrary to what trump admin is saying, what took place with the Obama Admin is NOT the same. They did slow the refugee program,but it did not impact green card holders, or anyone with a visa and Refugees were not affected, if you already went through the refugee process,which takes up to two years. Last, trump wants to give preference to Christians and choosing one religion over another is illegal. Obama did not enforce religious minorities slow down or bans; Obama’s actions were driven by real threats of terrorism and an actual case, though the valid and warranted delay did cause a loss of life of an interpreter. I am not an expert but the trump admin seems to be giving only fractions of a whole in this story of bans …He said what he wanted, a ban and a Muslim registry during his campaign …We are a country of immigrants we also have Caucasians Blacks and Latinos etc…all who can be or are good bad and ugly
I’m jusr referring to the point that there are no words “Muslim ban” in the actual wording if Trumps order. To me, that means it’s a travel ban, not a religous ban. Thanks!
Well,just because it’s not actually written on the document doesn’t mean it’s not a Muslim or religious ban and given his loss by the 9th circuit court the judges also saw through the wording and situation. I say, they can call it whatever you want, but most people know what was it really is .. thanks for the visit!

Thank you, i feel the same way. My view on trump is quite tainted given the years ugly birtherism dogma which i feel got him the Presidency of the USof A. Only time will tell what his true intent is.
