Order No. 11386: reject permit for LNG facility
Puget Sound Energy is trying to build a massive liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage facility and refinery in Tacoma, on land that belongs to the Puyallup Tribe.
Despite opposition from the tribe, from dozens of community groups and from Governor Inslee, Puget Sound Energy is still moving ahead and needs one final permit from the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCAA). Public pressure on the PSCAA and on local and state elected officials is our last chance to stop this dangerous project.
